Rep. Borris Miles (D-Houston) has been mentioned as a potential successor to Sen. Rodney Ellis (D-Houston), who is abandoning his Senate re-election to run for Harris Co. Commissioner. Miles, in a picture tweeted by former HD139 candidate and University of Houston student Jerry Ford Jr., already has campaign signs.
