GOV: The Andrew White campaign released a new ad focused on his personal efforts to help Houston-area victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Meanwhile, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins endorsed former Dallas Co. Sheriff Lupe Valdez.

AGRIC: The campaign of Comm. Sid Miller (R) released a new ad which it said is running across Texas. The ad attacks primary challenger Trey Blocker on sanctuary cities and features a father whose son was killed by an individual who was “hiding in a sanctuary city” and had been deported four times.

Trey Blocker Can't be Trusted!

Please take a look at our newest campaign ad that will be appearing across Texas. My opponent, Trey Blocker, talks tough about sanctuary cities on the campaign trail but in reality, he works as a paid political advisor for liberal Democrats who worked to kill Governor Greg Abbott's Sanctuary Cities Ban. He has given the Democrat Party of Texas and liberal Democrats tens of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions–money they then used to fight Republican efforts to stop illegal alien crime. He even votes in Democrat primaries! Trey Blocker claims to be a conservative. He is anything but! He cannot be trusted and he is wrong for Texas!
