Courts: The Houston Chronicle endorsed Larry Praeger (SC6) and Peter Kelly (SC8) for the Democratic nominations for their respective races.
SD11: The Houston Chronicle endorsed Susan Criss for the Democratic nomination to challenge Sen. Larry Taylor (R-Friendswood).
HD66: The Dallas Morning News endorsed Aimee Garza Lopez for the Democratic nomination to challenge Rep. Matt Shaheen (R-Plano).
HD80: The Laredo Morning Times endorsed Rep. Tracy King (D-Batesville) for re-nomination.
HD100: The Dallas Morning News endorsed Rep. Lorraine Birabil (D-Dallas) for nomination for a full term.
SEN: The Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Sen. Carol Alvarado (D-Houston) endorsed Sen. Royce West (D-Dallas) for the Democratic nomination to challenge U.S. Sen. John Cornyn (R). The Beaumont Enterprise endorsed Cornyn (R) and former Houston council member Amanda Edwards (D) for the respective party’s nomination.
CD19: The Abilene Reporter-News endorsed U.S. Rep. Jodey Arrington (R-Lubbock) for re-nomination.
CD28: The Laredo Morning Times endorsed U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Laredo) for re-nomination.
