HD33: The Dallas Morning News endorsed Rep. Justin Holland (R-Rockwall).
HD115: The Dallas Morning News endorsed Democratic challenger Julie Johnson over Rep. Matt Rinaldi (R-Irving).
SEN: The campaign of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R) released a new ad, “War on Police,” attacking U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-El Paso) for comments about law enforcement and issues of race.
CD21: The Joseph Kopser (D) campaign announced it raised $930K in the third quarter, bringing his total contributions for the election cycle to $2.3M.
CD31: The campaign of U.S. Rep. John Carter (R-Round Rock) released a new ad focused on veterans’ issues.
Meanwhile, Carter’s campaign released an internal poll showing him leading M.J. Hegar (D), 54%-33%. No crosstabs were provided.
CD32: The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee released a new ad, “Every Day,” attacking U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Dallas) for taking contributions from “special interests.”
