Texas Assoc. of Realtors: TREPAC announced its primary election endorsements. The group sided mostly with incumbents but endorsed these three challengers:
- HD4: Former Rep. Lance Gooden over Rep. Stuart Spitzer (R-Kaufman)
- HD55: Former Rep. Hugh Shine over Rep. Molly White (R-Belton), and
- HD115: Former Rep. Bennett Ratliff over Rep. Matt Rinaldi (R-Irving).
The group also endorsed several open-seat candidates, including Rep. Bryan Hughes (SD1), Jay Dean (HD7), Justin Holland (HD33), Kevin Downing (HD60), Kevin Roberts (HD126), Tom Oliverson (HD130), and Dolly Elizondo in CD15.
SC5: Former Gov. Rick Perry appeared at an event for Justice Paul Green and tweeted his support.

CCA: Texans for Fiscal Responsibility/Empower Texans endorsed Ray Wheless (CCA2) and Brent Williams (CCA5).
HD2: WallBuilders’ founder David Barton and Combined Law Enforcement Assocs. of Texas endorsed Rep. Dan Flynn (R-Van).
HD18 open: Texas Right to Life endorsed Keith Strahan.
HD27: Annie’s List endorsed challenger Angelique Bartholomew.
HD47: Jonestown Mayor Charles Powell endorsed challenger Jay Wiley.
HD49 open: The NxNW Democrats endorsed Gina Hinojosa.
HD114: Texas Values Action endorsed challenger Dan Morenoff.
HD115: In addition to TREPAC’s endorsement listed above, former Rep. Bennett Ratliff was endorsed by the Texas Medical Assoc.’s TEXPAC.
HD127: CLEAT endorsed Rep. Dan Huberty (R-Humble).
HD134: The Texas Medical Assoc.’s TEXPAC endorsed Rep. Sarah Davis (R-Houston).
HD139 open: The Area 5 Democrats endorsed Kimberly Willis.
CD29: The Area 5 Democrats endorsed U.S. Rep. Gene Green (D-Houston).
