SC: The Texas Civil Justice League PAC endorsed incumbents Debra Lehrmann (SC3), Paul Green (SC5) and Eva Guzman (SC9). Texas Right to Life endorsed challenger Rick Green (SC5).
HD18 open: Texas Values Action endorsed Keith Strahan.
HD64 open: Texas Values Action endorsed Read King.
HD89: Texas Values Action endorsed Rep. Jodie Laubenberg (R-Wylie).
HD92: The Fort Worth Star-Telegram endorsed challenger Scott Fisher. The paper also endorsed the challenger, albeit “reluctantly,” to Rep. Jonathan Stickland (R-Bedford) in 2014.
