ED1 open: The El Paso Times endorsed Georgina Perez.

CD1: The Longview News-Journal endorsed challenger Simon Winston.

CD14: The Beaumont Enterprise endorsed U.S. Rep. Randy Weber (R-Pearland).

CD17: The Waco Tribune endorsed U.S. Rep. Bill Flores (R-Bryan).

CD19 open: The Abilene Reporter-News recommended Michael Bob Starr, adding that it also liked Jodey Arrington.

CD27: The Corpus Christi Caller-Times endorsed challenger Greg Deeb.
