PRES: Rep. Rafael Anchia (D-Dallas) will endorse Hillary Clinton at her Dallas field office’s grand opening on Saturday. The Dallas Morning News endorsed John Kasich and Clinton for their respective party’s nominations. The San Antonio Express-News endorsed Jeb Bush and Clinton. The Houston Chronicle endorsed Bush and Clinton.

RRC: The Houston Chronicle endorsed Lance Christian and John Greytok in the Republican primary and former Rep. Lon Burnam (D-Fort Worth) in the Democratic primary.

SC: Sen. Lois Kolkhorst (R-Brenham) endorsed challengers Michael Massengale (SC3) and Rick Green (SC5) and incumbent Eva Guzman (SC9). The Houston Chronicle endorsed incumbents Debra Lehrmann (SC3), Paul Green (SC5) and Guzman (SC9).

CCA: The Houston Chronicle endorsed Chris Oldner (CCA2), Sid Harle (CCA5) and incumbent Judge Michael Keasler (CCA6).

SD1 open: Sen. Lois Kolkhorst (R-Brenham) endorsed Rep. Bryan Hughes (R-Mineola).

HD14: Associated Republicans of Texas endorsed Rep. John Raney (R-College Station).

HD17: Associated Republicans of Texas endorsed Rep. John Cyrier (R-Lockhart).

HD84: The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal endorsed Rep. John Frullo (R-Lubbock).

HD114: Associated Republicans of Texas endorsed Rep. Jason Villalba (R-Dallas).

HD134: Associated Republicans of Texas endorsed Rep. Sarah Davis (R-Houston).

CD19 open: The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal endorsed Jodey Arrington. Meanwhile, Don Parrish suspended his campaign and endorsed Michael Bob Starr. Just a week ago, Parrish posted a video on his campaign website attacking the Conservative Texans PAC, which has spent at least $63K on ads supporting Starr. Parrish has since taken the video down. Parrish’s name will remain on the ballot.

CD23: The El Paso Times endorsed U.S. Rep. Will Hurd (R-San Antonio) and former U.S. Rep. Pete Gallego (D-Alpine) for their respective primaries.
