HD92 open (Lean Republican): Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC endorsed Republican nominee Jeff Cason.

HD97 (Lean Republican): Rep. Craig Goldman’s (R-Fort Worth) campaign released a new ad, “Molly Jane’s Law,” highlighting his efforts to pass it.

HD137 (Safe Democratic): The Houston Chronicle endorsed Rep. Gene Wu (D-Houston).

CD21 (Toss Up): The campaign of Democratic challenger Wendy Davis released a new ad, “When I,” utilizing a split screen to blend her campaign positions with Texans’ daily activities.

Voter Fraud: Gregg Co. Comm. Shannon Brown and three others have been indicted for alleged involvement in a vote harvesting scheme to help Brown win the 2018 Democratic primary. The alleged scheme involved fraudulent requests for absentee ballots. The grand jury handed down 134 indictments including 23 felony counts for Brown. About 2K ballots were cast in that primary election, which Brown won by 5 votes. Nearly 40% of ballots were cast by mail, an unusually high percentage for that type of election.
