HD18: Liberty attorney and Texas Right to Life political director Emily Kebodeaux Cook established a campaign committee for a potential primary challenge of Rep. Ernest Bailes (R-Shepherd).
HD55: Brandon Hall established a campaign committee for a potential challenge of Rep. Hugh Shine (R-Temple). We were not able to identify his hometown, occupation or political affiliation conclusively.
HD94: Arlington transgender advocate Finnigan Jones established a campaign committee for a potential challenge of Rep. Tony Tinderhold (R-Arlington), likely as a Democrat.
HD122: Rep. Lyle Larson (R-San Antonio) announced he would seek re-election.
