Our Crib Sheets include all the federal and state candidates we know have made formal filings, announced plans or otherwise taken a formal step toward running in 2020.

HD47: Austin beer brewer and police officer Justin Berry established a campaign committee for an unspecified state non-judicial office. Tax records indicate his residence is located in HD47, which is currently held by Rep. Vikki Goodwin (D-Austin), so we speculate that is the seat he would seek. Social media posts indicate he would run as a Republican.  83601

CD23: Concan dentist Alma Arredondo-Lynch reauthorized her campaign committee for a potential primary rematch against U.S. Rep. Will Hurd (R-San Antonio). She lost the 2018 Republican primary to Hurd, 80%-20%.

CD24: Dallas resident Crystal Fletcher established a campaign committee for a potential challenge of U.S. Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-Carrollton) as a Democrat. We were unable to identify the candidate conclusively.

CD28: Laredo community activist Sandra Linn Whitten established a campaign committee for a potential challenge of U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Laredo) as a Republican.

CD33: Fort Worth resident Fabian Cordova Vasquez established a campaign committee for a potential challenge of U.S. Rep. Marc Veasey (D-Fort Worth) as a Republican. We were unable to identify the candidate conclusively.
