TREPAC Endorsements: The Texas Assoc. of Realtors TREPAC announced its runoff endorsements:
- RRC open: Gary Gates
- SD1 open: Rep. Bryan Hughes (R-Mineola)
- SD24 open: Rep. Susan King (R-Abilene)
- HD5 open: Cole Hefner
- HD18 open: Ernest Bailes
- HD27: Rep. Ron Reynolds (D-Missouri City)
- HD33 open: Justin Holland
- HD64 open: Lynn Stucky
- HD73: Rep. Doug Miller (R-New Braunfels), and
- HD128: Rep. Wayne Smith (R-Baytown).
The group previously endorsed Holland, Hughes, Miller, Reynolds and Smith for the primary. The group had not previously endorsed candidates in the other races.
SD24 open: Burnet Co. Commissioner Joe Don Dockery endorsed Dawn Buckingham. In the primary, Buckingham finished first in the county with 26%. Rep. Susan King (R-Abilene) was second with 19%.
HD33 open: The Justin Holland campaign announced he received endorsements from several law enforcement groups including the Dallas Police Assoc., Heath Police and Fire Assoc., Rockwall Firefighters Assoc. and Rockwall Police Officers Assoc.
