Lubbock Mayor: Lubbock ISD board president Dan Pope has a substantial lead in contributions and cash on hand over former council member Todd Klein. Combined, they have received 99% of all campaign contributions given to mayoral candidates since July 1, 2015. Former Lubbock Co. Commissioner Ysidro Gutierrez reported less than $2K in contributions. Gutierrez received 8% of the vote in the 2010 Republican primary for open HD84. Council member Victor Hernandez, who has served on the council for 16 years, reported no contributions. Current Mayor Glen Robertson is running for CD19.
