A new KTVT/Dixie Strategies poll shows Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton, 45%-38%. These figures are essentially unchanged from the last poll conducted by Dixie Strategies, which showed Trump leading, 46%-35%. The poll showed some improvement in Trump’s net favorability, although less than a majority view him favorably.

Trump receives the support of 39% of Hispanic/Latino voters according to the poll. That would be a statistical tie with George W. Bush in 2000 and be well ahead of the support received by John McCain and Mitt Romney in the last two election cycles.

Trump leads among men, 50%-34%, and is statistically tied among women. Both candidates are particularly unfavorable among women. Almost half of women have a “very unfavorable” view of Trump, and 53% of women have a “very unfavorable” view of Clinton.
