Most of the state’s 100 most populous cities will hold elections for municipal offices in 2018. State law provides two general election dates: May 5 and November 6. Most cities use the first date, but some will hold their elections to coincide with the gubernatorial election. The list below does not include special elections, which can occur at any time.
Abilene – council members P1 and P2
Allen – council members P1, P3 and P5
Arlington – council members D1, D2, D6 (AL) and D7 (AL)
Big Spring – council members D2 and D6
