State and legislative candidates were required to file 8-day-out campaign finance reports yesterday. The full reports are not yet available online, but we’re able to report summary totals for most candidates this morning. In this post, we summarize some of the hottest House primary races involving incumbents with one week to go to Election Day. Candidates are listed in decreasing order of contributions for the period (Jan. 22-Feb. 20) covered by the reports.

Rep. Cindy Burkett raised $220K, spent $185K and has $105K on hand.
Jonathan Boos raised $70K, spent $74K and has $25K on hand.

Burkett raised more for the period ($220K) than for the 2015-16 cycle up to this point ($200K). Boos raised nearly twice as much for the period ($70K) than for the cycle to date ($38K), and he added $15K in new loan principal.

HD114

Rep. Jason Villalba raised $133K, spent $137K and has $37K on hand.

HD115

Bennett Ratliff raised $152K, spent $214K and has $10K on hand.

Ratliff raised nearly as much for the period ($153K) as for the 2015-16 cycle up to this point ($177K). Rinaldi’s low contribution total is surprising given the competitiveness of the race and the typical willingness of his largest donors to give in such races.

Jeff Judson raised $428K, spent $238K and has $41K on hand.

Judson and Bean raised more for the period ($428K and $28K, respectively) than for the cycle to date ($232K and $24K, respectively).

HD134

Rep. Sarah Davis raised $203K, spent $144K and has $191K hand.
David Palmer raised $24K, spent $24K and has $65K on hand.

Davis raised nearly as much for the period ($203K) as for the 2015-16 cycle to date ($206K). Palmer had raised only $7K heading into the period, and he has not spent much of his $100K loan balance.

HD137

Rep. Gene Wu raised $75K, spent $17K and has $137K hand.
Edward Pollard raised <$2K, spent $6K and has $27K on hand.

Wu raised nearly as much for the period ($75K) as for the cycle to date ($79K). Both candidates have significant resources sitting on the table relative to the amount they have spent this cycle.

Rep. Debbie Riddle raised $152K, spent $148K and has $72K on hand.
