“Jonathan Stickland stood up for us,” says his latest ad, while his opponent Scott Fisher “is bankrolled by liberals who backed Wendy Davis.” The ad claims Fisher voted for a resolution to “force” 1 million Texans into Obamacare.
While the latter claim was judged as “Pants on Fire!” by PolitiFact, it nonetheless pins the specter of Obama onto Fisher while drawing a contrast between him and “the top conservative in the Texas House.”
