A few things we wanted to share with you today:
Swearing-in Schedule. Reps.-elect Diego Bernal, John Cyrier and Leighton Schubert will be sworn in on Tuesday at noon in the House chamber. Sen.-elect Jose Menendez will be sworn in on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
Minjarez Files CTA. San Antonio attorney Ina Minjarez filed paperwork establishing a campaign account for the forthcoming HD123 special election. She joins San Antonio insurance agent David Rosa as the only candidates to establish campaign committees so far.
Straight-ticket Voting. Rep. Kenneth Sheets filed House Bill 25 to remove judicial offices from straight-ticket voting. It is the fourth bill filed this session to limit or eliminate straight-ticket voting.
