A few things we wanted to share with you today:
SD18 Special Election. Rep. Lois Kolkhorst reported raising an additional $37,800 in a “telegram report” filed December 2. Gary Gates amended his 8-day-out report to show $1.745 million in unitemized loans. His originally filed report showed none. The loan amount is consistent with his expenditures. He reported less than $7K in contributions from others.
SD26 Special Election. Rep. Jose Melendez’s campaign kickoff is scheduled for Friday in San Antonio.
HD17 Special Election. Bastrop resident Ty McDonald filed a CTA with the Texas Ethics Commission to re-establish a campaign committee. McDonald lost the 2014 general election for Bastrop Co. Judge (38%).
HD123 Special Election. Nunzio Previtera, the State Republican Executive Committeeman from SD26, has filed a CTA to establish a campaign committee for HD123.
