Early voting in person for the March 3 primary elections begins one week from Tuesday.

SD19: The San Antonio Express-News endorsed Xochil Peña Rodriguez for the Democratic nomination over Rep. Roland Gutierrez (D-San Antonio) and two other candidates. The nominee will face Sen. Pete Flores (R-Pleasanton).

HD10 open: Texas Alliance for Life endorsed Jake Ellzey for the seat being vacated by Rep. John Wray (R-Waxahachie).

HD25 open: Brazoria County Judge Matt Sebesta (R) endorsed Ro’Vin Garrett, the county tax assessor-collector, for the seat being vacated by Speaker Dennis Bonnen (R-Angleton).

HD26 open: Texas Alliance for Life PAC endorsed Jacey Jetton for the seat being vacated by Rep. Rick Miller (R-Sugar Land).

HD89: The Dallas Morning News endorsed Jon Cocks for the Democratic nomination to challenge Rep. Candy Noble (R-Lucas).

HD102: The Dallas Morning News endorsed former Rep. Linda Koop (R-Dallas) for the Republican nomination to challenge Rep. Ana-Maria Ramos (D-Dallas).

HD128: Texas Alliance for Life PAC endorsed primary challenger Robert Hoskins over Rep. Briscoe Cain (R-Deer Park).

HD138 open: Texas Alliance for Life endorsed Josh Flynn for the seat being vacated by Rep. Dwayne Bohac (R-Houston).

HD142: The Houston Black American Democrats endorsed Democratic primary challenger Richard Bonton over Rep. Harold Dutton (D-Houston). The Texas Coalition of Black Democrats of Harris Co. endorsed Bonton and Dutton.

SEN: The Dallas Morning News endorsed Sen. Royce West (D-Dallas) and former Houston council member Amanda Edwards for the Democratic nomination to challenge U.S. Sen. John Cornyn (R).

CD17 open: Retiring U.S. Rep. Bill Flores (R-Bryan) endorsed Renee Swann to succeed him.

CD20: The San Antonio Express-News endorsed U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-San Antonio) and Dominick Dina (R) for the respective party’s nominations.

CD23 open: The San Antonio Express-News endorsed Tony Gonzales II (R) and Gina Ortiz Jones (D) for their respective party’s nominations.

CD24 open: The Fort Worth Star-Telegram endorsed former Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne for the Republican nomination to succeed the retiring U.S. Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-Coppell).
