CD3: Plano portfolio manager Robert Mason established a campaign committee for a potential challenge of U.S. Rep. Van Taylor (R-Plano) as an independent. Mason launched an independent campaign for the seat in 2017 but ultimately did not reach the ballot.
CD5: Dallas marketing manager Brannon Perkison has established an ActBlue page for a potential challenge of U.S. Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Terrell) as a Democrat.
CD17 open: Waco resident David Jaramillo established a campaign committee for a potential run for the seat being vacated by U.S. Rep. Bill Flores (R-Bryan) as a Democrat.
CD22 open: Sugar Land resident Bangar Reddy (Aaloori) established a campaign committee for a potential run for the seat being vacated by U.S. Rep. Pete Olson (R-Sugar Land) as a Republican.
