HD28 special: Houston anesthesiologist Anna Allred established a campaign committee for a potential run for the seat being vacated by Rep. John Zerwas (R-Richmond) as a Republican.
HD92 open: Dallas resident Brody Mulligan established a campaign committee for a potential run for the seat being vacated by Rep. Jonathan Stickland (R-Bedford), likely as a Green Party candidate.
HD148 special: Houston educator and Houston ISD board member Elizabeth Santos announced she would explore a bid for the seat being vacated by Rep. Jessica Farrar (D-Houston).
Houston: Former City Controller Orlando Sanchez announced he would challenge incumbent Chris Brown.
